Finished
So I finished the book. At about page 150 i started to think. If I were a mom and I was told I had only 3 months to live, I would quit my job and spend all my time with family and friends. Randy Pausch is obviously a different thinker than I. He knew that at some point his young kids won’t be able to recall the memories they shared in his last months, so he created a future for them. Even though his time was limited, he did not give up. He kept living his life, just with a little extra pride. In the end of the book, he talks about how he needed to create memories now with the kids, and make video tapes so that in the future they could watch them. He is very smart for thinking of this, in the book he goes through each kid and talks about them. When his kids grow up, and meet the people that their dad was friends with, and when his friends talk about Randy to his kids, I know that all his hard work will have paid off. This is definitely one of the most inspirational books I have ever read. I think everyone from high school up should have to read it. It has really made me appreciate life and all aspects of it, family, friends, sports, teachers, and everyone and everything in between. Thanks for reading my blog!
